A Scout Fellowship is a group of adults who have one thing in common - a wish to support Scouting. A Scout Fellowship welcomes men and women of all ages, interests and backgrounds. There is no need for members to have been involved in Scouting before, all that is required is a willingness to give some time to Scouting.

The aim of the Scout Fellowship is to "provide active support", with the emphasis being very much on supporting the youth programme in an active manner, at all levels of the Association from the local Scout Group to National level.

  • Royal Kingston Scout Fellowship is very new having only been launched in November 2008.
  • This new Fellowship Unit aims to “provide active support” for Royal Kingston District.
  • The Fellowship will be organising social activities for the benefit of members.
  • Some activities will include raising funds so that the Unit is financially self sufficient.
  • Members of the Fellowship can either be Full or Associate Members of The Scout Association. Full Members make the Scout Promise and have the choice of whether or not to wear uniform.
  • Ideas for activities for the future of our new Scout Fellowship Unit include rifle shooting, canoeing, beer tasting, skiing, rambles and generally socialising.

Specific questions relating to Scout Fellowship in The District can be e-mailed to Fellowship.RoyalKingstonScouts@Googlemail.com
