Sealion Scouts win the cyclocross overall Scout trophy

The seven victorious cyclists are shown with the trophy, last won by Sealion over ten years ago.

Congratulations to the Sealion cyclists who stormed home to win the overall Scout trophy in this year's Royal Kingston Cyclocross and to Voyager unit from Malden who took the Explorer title, unopposed.
The off-road biking on a tough course across the fields and through the wooded hillsides of Polyapes in Oxshott proved a real challenge, but two second places in the U12 and U14 categories was enough for Sealion to take the Scout cup.

Teams from a number of Troops took part, about 25 Scouts in total, but only one Explorer unit. Sadly not all troops entered this excellent and fun event, let’s see everybody there next year. It is very well organized morning out and exciting for all who take part.
