A Scientific Afternoon for younger Beavers was held recently at 2nd Tolworth Headquarters.

About eighty of our six year old Beavers, from eleven different Colonies, met together to complete a number of bases designed to increase their scientific knowledge.

Erupting volcanoes, wiring electric buzzers, testing convection currents and turning celery red were just some of the activities on offer.

At the end of the afternoon the District Commissioner played a hectic game of 'O’Grady Says' before presenting everyone with a certificate to mark their participation.
All will also receive the Experiment Activity Badge
